This program introduces the LFS framework for examining how trauma, Self Defense Mechanisms, triggers, and defaults may influence thoughts, feelings, behavior, perception, and identity.
Examine the LFS framework for how unfamiliar or impactful experiences may be interpreted and managed.
Identify protective mechanisms that may influence how you respond to internal and external stimuli.
Examine what activates established responses and why certain situations may carry disproportionate influence.
Recognize responses that may operate automatically before conscious examination occurs.
LFS PERSPECTIVE
Knowing what may be influencing you can explain a response without exempting you from responsibility for what you do with that understanding.
WHAT YOU WILL EXAMINE
Develop language for examining what may be operating beneath a reaction or pattern.
Begin distinguishing between what is occurring within you and what you consciously determine is true of you.
Use understanding as information for more conscious decisions.
